Praising the Lord!

We started at 9 in the morning and did not finish at the container depot till 4:30 this evening. I am still in a state of shock. I am also tired of standing and walking in the hot sun for that long. Customs did not charge us anything! Thank you for your prayers! I could tell people were praying. Please continue to pray for the container as it travels 4 hours up the road to Nanyuki.

Customs

Please pray for me today. I will be meeting up with my clearing agent at 9 this morning. We will then head over to the depot to deal with the customs people to clear my container. It has thousands of Bibles and other things in it to help with the ministry here. I would greatly appreciate your prayers! The "unknown" always makes me a bit nervous, but the Lord is on my side. I will let you know tonight how things went.

Naibor Orphanage - part 4

Abigail and Anna played t-ball with the younger kids.

Andrew and I played baseball with the older kids. We had a blast!

Naibor Orphanage - part 3

This little guy was Andrew's buddy and followed him everywhere.

We took suckers and passed them out to all the kids.

We played their version of "Duck, Duck, Goose". =)

On our way to play baseball with the kids.

Naibor Orphanage - part 2

The orphans and community kids lined up for lunch.

Lunch was beans and rice.

Andrew, Abigail, and Anna helped serve.

Naibor Orphanage - part 1

We joined the orphans and community kids for their Bible lesson time. Even though the lesson was taught in Swahili I was able to understand quite a bit of it.

Andrew went down to the river with them to get water.

This is how they have electricity in the orphanage.

I was excited to find my little friend, Agnes again. She is doing well and still taking care of her three younger brothers. I was glad she is still continuing on in school even though she is still in the 1st grade. She has a learning disorder because her mom was a drunk when she was born.

Abigail is showing the kids their photo after she took it.

Acting

I was asked to teach chapel today and so I had my sisters, brother, and some of the teachers from the school help me. As I told the parable from Matthew 22 they acted it out. We had a great time! Here are some of the pictures.

Peter was the King and my sisters Abigail and Anna were the servants. Boniface was the guard who threw out the guest who did not want to wear the King's garments.

We used some of the school kids for the people invited from the highways.

Pictures

Some of the best fish we have ever tasted.

Abigail was not expecting the whole fish. The look on her face was great when they brought it out and placed it on the table.

We have enjoyed helping out with the Awana program!
