I was inspired to start this blog by another missionary who blogged about his life in Kenya. I know I really enjoyed reading and seeing the pictures. He was good at it and I think he should turn it into a book someday. I don't know how good I'll be at this, but my goal for this blog is to share what the Lord is doing in my life and in Kenya.

Moving!!!!!
Things are moving right along. The house in Nanyuki is not finished being worked on, but it is ready to be moved into. This week we have been at the house down in Nairobi packing up everything. We are scheduled to load the truck on Monday and drive up to Nanyuki and unload on Tuesday. Please pray that everything goes well.
This week I found out that the container is due to arrive in Mombasa on March 2nd.Continue to pray for its safety and that we don’t have any problems getting it through customs.Friday I went to immigration to check on the renewal of my work permit.Nothing has been done on it yet.It has been a month since I started the renewal process.I am praying that something will be done in the next week or two.I will need it when the container arrives and has to go through customs.
It seems like it has been work, work, and more work since I arrived back here.So on Friday after checking on the work permit we stopped working and celebrated Abigail’s 20th birthday. It is actually this Sunday. We spent the day at the Elephant Orphanage and the GiraffeCenter.
I grew up in a Christian home, but it wasn't till I was ten years old that I tusted Christ as Lord and Savior of my life.
Some of you may wonder how I became a missionary. I grew up learning about missions and missionaries. Through that God gave me a love for missions. So, when I was 13 yrs. old I surrendered to God's call on my life to be a missionary. I wouldn't dream of being anything else. It's so wonderful to be in the middle of the Lord's will!
Someday I would like to hike to the top of Mount Kenya! I would also like to go see places such as Hawaii, London, Washington D.C., the rest of Gettysburg (only got to see half), Niagara Falls, Hike the Grand Canyon, hike the Rockies, the Smokies, see Boston, and see the Statue of Liberty.
