Hey everyone! I have returned back home. I was away for two weeks up in Nanyuki. I had a wonderful trip filled with ministry opportunities! I will tell about that when I can get my thoughts all organized and the pics ready.
I just finished teaching in our Friday night Children’s Bible Club. We had 38 in attendance. Each week the attendance has gone up. Praise the Lord! I was told that last week three of our muslim kids came. That was good news!
I taught the Bible lesson tonight. It was about Peter in jail and the Christians praying for him. The kids really got into the story. They got really tickled thinking about Rhoda being so excited that Peter was out of jail that she left him standing at the door still knocking. =) We talked a lot about how God answers our prayers and how He answers in three different ways. Yes, no, and wait. No matter how He answers we can trust Him because He knows what is best for us.
I want to thank the Lord again for His constant protection. Today I was driving in town trying to pay bills and all that fun stuff. I was on a small road and traffic was moving along when a matatu (public transport vehicle) decided to stop all of a sudden in the middle of the road. Because of that the car in front of me had to stop suddenly. Well, I didn’t have enough time. The Lord was gracious and there was room on the side of the road. That is not always the case. By the time my car came to a stop I was right beside the car that was in front of me. Thank you Lord for guardian angels to watch over us!
I will try to get some pics posted soon and tell you all about my time in Nanyuki!
