My Time in Nanyuki (part 4)
Along with spending time at the orphanages I went out to a village school. There I had the opportunity to do a Gospel Presentation using the Wordless Book colors. The Pastor of Mt. Kenya Baptist church, Pastor Onesimus and another lady went with me to this school. When I finished teaching Pastor Onesimus gave an invitation and 25 kids trusted Christ as their Lord and Savior. After that we got to show them the Jesus film in Swahili. It was a very exciting day!

It has been awhile since I have been mobbed. Everyone wanted to have a touch. =)
As I said back in part 1, I stayed on the property of Mt. Kenya Baptist School. On Fridays they raise the Kenyan flag and sing the national anthem.
The children then head over to the church for chapel.
Pastor John Chirchir, pastor of the Bible Baptist Church of Naibor was the guest speaker that day. There were several kids that responded to the invitation. We split them up amongest the teachers and dealt with them.
These are the five that I dealt with and each one trusted Christ as their Lord and Savior. Later on that afternoon, they and several others came and told me,"Our teacher says we have some free time so we want to come and talk with you". We went out and sat under a tree and they asked me all kinds of questions. They each had their Bible with them so as they asked questions we would look into God's Word for the answers. It was a real precious time! One I wish I had a picture of.
