We had another wonderful day today! We were at the Baraka Baptist Church in Jua Kali. We sat everything up and started seeing people. Once again by lunch time we had seen 179 people. One of our nurses from here in Kenya could not be there today. Yesterday I had watched and so today I was one of the nurses taking people’s vital signs. By the end of the day we saw over 250 men, women and children.
The Baraka Baptist Church is also were I teach in the nursery school. It was so neat to see all my little kiddos today!! Some of the nursery school kids with medical problems were able to see the doctors and get the medication they needed. We were also able to pass out vitamins, toothbrushes and toothpaste to all the people. Everyone had a chance to hear the Gospel and we saw 18 come to know Christ as their Savior!!!
I am excited that we were able to do these medical camps and appreciate the doctors and nurses that came and gave of their time and money. I can’t wait to see the doors of opportunity that will be opened up in the different areas because of these medical camps the Lord enabled us to do.
